2.9.1 Marking
In addition to the information required by the applicable standard and legislation, the following information should be permanently and legibly marked on a suitable part of the crane:
SWL(s). This will usually be on the crane bridge and must be of a size legible from the operating position.
Identification mark.
For pendant and remote-controlled cranes, direction markers corresponding to those on the crane controls.
Name and address of the manufacturer.
Year of manufacture.
