10.12 TRAINING
In addition to the training requirements specified in section 1.10 TRAINING of this code, operative training should take the manufacturer’s instructions into account, paying particular attention to the following:
Operatives must have good eyesight and be able to judge distances, heights and clearances and the training programme should cover this aspect of the operation.
If the jib crane and/or the associated lifting appliance call for manual effort to push the load the operative should be physically fit for such activity.
