8.3.1 Runway

A runway is any structural section, provided it is suitable for use as a runway beam, i.e. designed for the appropriate load cases and fitted with appropriate safety components such as end stops for example, and is suitably supported. (See 1.A4 APPENDIX 4 - STRUCTURES)
