25.4.1 Fixed Suspension

A lifting fork with a fixed suspension point has no facility to adjust the position of the lifting eye. This type of lifting fork is designed for use with a specific load where the position of the centre of gravity does not vary. Figure 25.4.2-1  illustrates a typical example.
