14.4.1 Common Sling Assemblies
This subsection illustrates the most commonly used chain sling assemblies. Other special assemblies may be devised for lifting specific unusually shaped loads. Although the upper terminal fittings illustrated are links, rings were also permitted in some standards, but LEEA does not recommend their use.
