8.3.5 Anti-tilt Device

An anti-tilt device is an adjustable roller or similar device fitted to a gear operated trolley. This operates against the underside of the bottom flange of the runway or other suitable part of the beam section, to prevent the trolley tilting when the hand chain is operated. (See Figure 8.3.4-1 ) Certain manufacturers also fit similar devices to hand pushed trolleys.
