1.3.6 Lifting Equipment

Lifting equipment is a generic term used throughout this code to indicate loosely all lifting accessories and appliances.

Note

The COPSULE uses this term to mean ‘work equipment for lifting or lowering loads and includes its attachments used for anchoring, fixing or supporting it’ and makes clear that ‘load’ includes persons.
