24.4.2 End Gripping Barrel Lifters

This type of lifter grips the ends of a barrel and is capable of lifting and lowering the barrel. The only possible manipulation of the barrel whilst suspended with this type of lifter, is rotation about the horizontal axis of the barrel utilising the swivel in the hook of the lifting machine.
