24.4.3 Side Gripping Barrel Lifters

This type of lifter grips the side of the barrel and allows rotation of the barrel about its vertical axis utilising the swivel in the hook of the lifting machine and, if fitted with the appropriate mechanism, also facilitates tilting of the barrel or rotation about its horizontal axis.
